Depression feels like the flu – it comes and goes, you can manage symptoms but not eliminate them immediately, and sometimes you just have to ride it out.

But unlike the flu, depression tricks you into thinking you don't deserve to feel better. I've learned that having multiple tools is crucial because nothing works every time.

For me, those tools include cold plunges, intense workouts, pattern-breaking activities, and connecting with others.
