Had one of those "what's the point of anything" depression moments the other day about my gym routine.
Staring in the mirror thinking all this work is pointless. Then I checked my fitness app data and got smacked with the obvious - I've literally doubled my strength since October.
Sometimes when you're in the darkness, you need that external validation to prove your feelings wrong.
Your brain lies to you.
The data doesn't.
It was my "duh" moment that tracking actually matters, even for someone like me who hates details.
The lesson? Show up consistently, measure occasionally, and let the numbers remind you it's working when your brain says it isn't.
